Coriander is a culinary spice commonly used in Indian curry powder, turmeric, fenugreek, cumin, and chilli. Coriander has a sweet, aromatic flavour with a citrus undertone. Coriander seeds are native to the Mediterranean and Southern Europe.

Pattu Coriander Seeds
A combination of crushed coriander seeds and vinegar can be used to season raw meat with a spicy aroma and extend its shelf life. Additionally, meat cooked in any of these methods is enhanced by the addition of Pattu coriander. Natural Pattu coriander seeds are used in home canning for pickling vegetables like cabbage and mushrooms. 

In Greece and Cyprus, crushed seeds are also used for canning olives. Coriander seeds add a lot of flavour to lamb dishes. It's also a great spice for "aphelia," a simple, delicious dish. It's red wine-braised pork.
