Pattu Ajwain Seed is a spice used in Indian, Middle Eastern, and African cuisine for culinary and medicinal purposes. It is utilised in several Asian dishes, including curry, sabji, and dal, or as a baking sprinkle seasoning.

Pattu Ajwain (carom) seed

Ajwain, also known as carom seeds or bishops weed grown in India and Iran, is most frequently cooked or fried before being added to a recipe.

It reflects fennel and cumin seeds in appearance and has a strong thyme-like fragrance. Pattu ajwain seeds have an oval form, a ridged texture, and a light khaki tint. Carom seeds provide dishes with an excellent flavour and strong aroma.
